I was raised in Victoria and after graduating from UVIC I married my high school sweetheart (Dr. Robin Love) and we moved to Prince George for our “northern experience” – and work. Later after living in Vancouver and Montreal, we returned to Vancouver Island in 1988, with 2 young children and much and a thirst for clean air, trees and ocean.
I began my work life in Social Work and then stayed home when my children were small. I then studied and worked in Interior Design for 15 years. My eye for staging and re-design has been very helpful to clients listing their homes, as well as Buyers purchasing with re-design in mind. I can help buyers see the potential in a home, and advise from years of design experience.
Real Estate has been a natural extension of everything I have done previously and my former disciplines have given me a large and varied toolbox for my work in Real Estate. I am proud to be a Seniors Real Estate Specialist and hold the Luxury properties marketing designation. I can also offer guidance in both commercial and residential investments. I especially enjoy working with closely with the medical community and the local hospital, and I have a personal understanding of the needs and pressures on a medical family.
Real Estate is a wonderful blend of the personal and business – a home that will nurture you and be a wise financial investment too. What could be more interesting? I love the idea of HOME. I am fascinated by the psychology of spaces and what makes a home feel right for one person and not the next. I am dedicated to understanding the unique needs and desires of each person and family.
